Juice from Vietnamese passion fruit, blended with a maltodextrin carrier and spray-dried at partner plants in Vietnam, then sealed in aluminium-laminate bags and stored cool and dry.
Passion fruit juice is rich in sugars and acids, which make it stick in a spray dryer, so a carrier is needed. Vietnamese spray-drying research uses 8% to 35%. This powder is therefore not 100% fruit, and your label says so.
The carrier and its percentage are stated on every COA and ingredient statement. A freeze-dried, 100% passion fruit grade is quoted by agreement. VinFruits Global sources, specifies and exports.

EU
A powder containing maltodextrin cannot be named passion fruit juice powder under Directive 2001/112/EC; it is sold as passion fruit powder with the carrier in the ingredient list. French controls named omethoate in Vietnamese fresh passion fruit, so each lot is screened.
United States
21 CFR 101.4 lists ingredients by weight, so maltodextrin appears on your label. The plant is FDA-registered, your importer runs FSVP, and origin follows where the fruit was grown.
China, Japan and South Korea
China needs GACC registration under Decree 280; retail drink powders follow GB/T 29602 solid-beverage labelling. Japan holds unlisted pesticides to 0.01 mg/kg; Korea needs MFDS plant registration.

How do I start with passion fruit powder?
Ask for a sample with its data sheet and the carrier percentage, and test it in your drink base. After approval we agree an LCL trial lot, then full 20-ft or 40-ft dry containers; the bag count is stated in the quotation.
Why does spray-dried passion fruit powder contain maltodextrin?
Passion fruit juice is rich in sugars and acids and sticks in a spray dryer on its own. Vietnamese research uses 8–35% carrier; one 2026 trial found 10% best for yield. Any seller offering spray-dried passion fruit as 100% fruit should show you the ingredient statement.
Can I call it passion fruit juice powder in the EU?
No. Directive 2001/112/EC reserves that name for juice with the water removed and lists no carrier. Sell it as passion fruit powder with maltodextrin declared. If you need a 100% fruit label, ask for the freeze-dried grade.
